Carsi, one of Turkey's leading retailer chain stores, with its modern Supply Chain Management concept has become a pioneer in the field of logistics outsourcing. On its quest for a logistics partner, Carsi looked out for many candidates and finally preferred Ekol among other global leaders, in order to reduce the space used for logistics in stores and utilize these expensive places for selling purposes instead, and to enable the logistics management in a more modern and effective structure.After 19 months of project work, all work processes were studied in detail, all improvement opportunities were evaluated and Turkey's most modern, and technology oriented distribution facility was built concurrently.

By consolidating Carsi store supply strategies according to the product groups as "cross-dock", "flow thru" and "replenishment" strategies, EKOL achieved inventory minimization and delivery efficiency.Interfaces have been built between EKOL and Carsi softwares which have different infrastructures running independently and a data processing structure has been established enabling both parties to monitor all processes, create work orders and report the results simultaneously.Thanks to this system, anydata Carsi keys in to the software can be utilized for generating work orders to EKOL.With processes optimization, handling automation, efficient use of spaces and electronic data structure, Carsi has started to take advantage of the most modern logistic outsourcing project by 2002.
