87 Years of The Republic of Turkey

Mustafa Kemal Atatürk During the War of Independence years, the new government named as The Turkish Grand National Assembly was founded at Ankara, but the regime of this new government was not determined. The Turkish Grand National Assembly was a government based on national sovereignty and its new regime had to be on that direction. Setting off by saying "It's the own power of the nation that will save the country", Mustafa Kemal Atatürk always had the opinion that the new regime of the country should be Republic. Upon the ending of the War of Independence and with the occurrence of the suitable atmosphere for determining the new regime. Mustafa Kemal had shared his thoughts with the deputies of the Turkish Grand National Assembly and the regime is accepted as Republic on October 29, 1923.

We, as Ekol Family, wish a happy October 29th The Republic Day, which is celebrated with a great excitement since the acceptance of the Republic in 1923.
