Making its mark with projects for the public weal, Ekol Logistics funded the building of a logistics practice warehouse and a computer lab for Harmandere Technical and Industrial Vocational High School, achieving a unique and exemplary project. The opening ceremony of the workshop and the lab was attended by Dr. Salih Kenan Şahin, Mayor of Pendik, Osman Tunç, Governor of Pendik, Recep Dernekbaş, District Director of National Education and Ekol Logistics managers on Friday, November 8, at 10:00 a.m.
Actively supporting education since its foundation, Ekol will contribute to meet qualified manpower need of the industry with this project. Ekol executives will convey their sectoral knowledge and experience to the students on certain days of the week and thus make a huge contribution to ensure students graduate with current and practical knowledge. Students will pay field visits to Ekol Logistics and be able to observe operations and processes carried out on site. Moreover, students will be accepted for long and short term internship at Ekol and step into the industry with their experiences.
