Kaan Gürgenç received his bachelor’s degree in Economics at Uludağ University in 1988. After earning an MBA from the Institute of Business Economics in 1989, he embarked on his career. He completed his post-graduate studies on Logistics at Ohio State University before obtaining executive positions at various companies. As of 2017, he has served as a member of the Steering Committee at Ekol Logistics.
Feza Özalp received her bachelor’s degree from the Department of Management at Boğaziçi University in 1980. She commenced her professional career in 1976. In 1985 she began working for an international company and played an active role in its foundation. Özalp served in various senior positions at the same company and she was appointed as an Ekol Logistics Advisory Board Member in 2014.
Eyüp Soner obtained his bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Middle East Technical University in 1979 and his M.S. degree from the same university in 1983. Soner served in various senior positions in leading companies. Subsequent to joining Ekol Logistics in 2012, Soner was appointed as an Steering Committee Member in 2014. Eyüp Soner has been a Board Member since 2016.
John McCartney studied at Catholic Grammar School in Liverpool, the U.K. McCartney has dedicated his entire career to transportation and forwarding. He commenced his professional career at one of the most important agencies of UK as a sales intern 37 years ago and concluded it as the UK Sales Director. He joined Ekol Logistics in April 2014, and servers as an Advisory Board Member.
Levent Ersalman earned his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Boğaziçi University in 1983, and his MBA from the University of Akron, Ohio, in 1985. Throughout his career, Ersalman served in various senior positions in leading companies. Ersalman joined Ekol Logistics as Advisory Board Member in December 2016.
Levent Hatay received his bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering from Southern Methodist University in 1984. He earned his master’s degree in Engineering Management in 1986 and his doctorate degree in Operations Research in Engineering in 1989. Since 2011, he has been providing consultancy in growth, strategy, marketing, change management, operational excellence, and logistics to Turkey’s prominent companies, as well as serving as a board member. Hatay was appointed as an Ekol Logistics Advisory Board Member in mid 2014.
Nedret Koray received his bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences at Istanbul University in 1975, and his MBA from the Graduate School of Business at the same university in 1976. He served as General Manager at a transportation company where he is a partner. Koray joined Ekol Logistics in 2002, and was appointed as an Advisory Board Member to the company in 2014.
Selim Cengiz received his bachelor’s degree from the Department of Chemical Engineering at Istanbul Technical University in 1985. He received his MBA from Istanbul University in 1986. He served in various senior positions in leading companies. Cengiz joined Ekol Logistics in 2012, and was appointed as an Advisory Board Member at Ekol Logistics in 2014.
Semih İncedayı received his bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the Middle East Technical University in 1988. He commenced his professional career as Host Machine Systems Support Engineer in 1988 and served in various senior positions in leading companies. Semih İncedayı was appointed as an Advisory Board Member at Ekol Logistics in September 2015. He is married with two children.
