Operating in Turkey as part of the Gilette Group, Braun is one of the leading firms globally in the production of electric shavers, small kitchen appliances, and blood pressure monitors and body thermometers. Braun Works with Ekol Since 2003.

Within the framework of after-sales services, Braun had operations to supply spare parts to its service and repair locations, to offer product replacements for guarantee purposes, and to provide call center services for blood pressure monitors and body thermometers. Within this structure, the spare parts were purchased by the service provider from Braun's headquarters in Germany, carried to Turkey by freighters, naturalized by customs consultancy firms, and dispatched to Braun's service and repair locations via cargo companies.
In addition to an acute lack of any integration through these stages, computers and other automation technologies concerning product flows were also out of picture.
When Ekol and Braun's business cooperation was launched in 2003, transportation, customs clearance, inventory and order management was handed over to Ekol , leading the way to integration under a single roof. Information technologies and other automation were also applied in this project. However, what is more striking is that Ekol was now able to add to its portfolio a service which it had not offered before. Adding the label of "importer" to its well known title of 3rd party logistics service provider, Ekol brought a whole new dimension to Supply Chain Management by undertaking the whole inventory related issues and financial responsibilities of the goods.
