All customers regularly receive email updates about the status of their products. Business partners of Ekol customers, including third party business partners such as account managers, may also be sent updated departure/arrival information upon request.
Dynafleet and fleetboard information systems installed in vehicles enable clear communication and provide definite information regarding the vehicle. This helps the accuracy of decisions by parties within the transportation chain. The web-based service allows easy vehicle tracking online. This, in turn enables Ekol's customers to track their cargoes with geographical position indicated on the map on a real-time basis. It is possible to access the details about all vehicles in Ekol's fleet, and to receive reports regarding information about the usage patterns, distances covered, fuel consumption, next scheduled maintenance, and environment, as well as to download vehicle and driver information directly from the office via the GSM network.
At Ekol, orders are coordinated over the traffic control center to which all regions and agents are connected via the information operation network, video conference, GPS tracking and communication systems. This allows for cost and time optimization on the basis of certain parameters, between different goods which proceed from different locations.
