Fleet

Ekol has initiated a project in an effort to minimize the damage caused to the Earth by its vehicles and vessels as they traverse the world to ensure a flawless flow of global trade. As part of the project, it made all of its tow trucks compliant with EURO 5 standards by 2011.

Moreover, Ekol renders services with Euro 6 engines in most of the countries in which it operates with its facilities in Europe.

Driver Training

Drivers get involved in the training process from the moment of commencing their role at Ekol. Accordingly, they receive vocational and on-the-job training, as well as technical training in load safety, safe and economic driving in the heavy-vehicle simulator, and defensive driving. They are assessed at the end of the training program.

One of Ekol’s main goals is to administer training programs to the drivers on how to consume the lowest amount of fuel possible when driving. Ekol conducts its drivers safe and economic driving training programs in the heavy-vehicle simulator, in addition to professional development training programs with the goal of utilizing resources effectively and reducing costs, as well as raising environmental awareness.

Environmentally-Aware Drivers

Drivers expand their know-how with training programs from instructors who are specialized in many fields, including advance driving techniques, safe and economic driving techniques, ADR, load safety, and RCA, along with a driver manual.
