Ekol Hungary is an integral part of Ekol’s European intermodal network.

Ro-Ro vessels transfer Ekol trailers and containers from the port of Yalova, to the ports of Trieste, and Patras, and from Alsancak to Trieste, and Sète. Items are forwarded, utilizing block train services, from Trieste to Germany or to Ostrava in the Czech Republic via Sète.

Hungary expands our intermodal network by adding Neuss to Budapest and v.v. line, both directions. Through this connection, Ekol Hungary provides advantages to its customers who transport goods to the U.K., France, Germany and Benelux countries.

In addition to Western Europe, Ekol Hungary operates with 3 services weekly between Budapest and Istanbul, in cooperation with Ekol Turkey. Being pioneers in Hungary in China-Budapest rail service, Ekol Hungary arranges transportation of FCL and LCL goods from China to Hungary and CEE region on a weekly basis as a unique service.
