Ekol Lojistik, with its “Speedy” service, provides the speed of airfreight at lower costs for its low volume freight customers.

Ekol, one of Turkey’s most highly integrated logistics company, provides fast solutions with its new service “Speedy” for the low volume freight customers. This service, which will be preferred as an alternative to air freight in particular, ensures that the customers save time.

Ekol has developed a new service to guarantee the most important aspect of transportation, the “speed“, and now creates fast and customer specific solutions with smaller vehicles with this new service, named “Speedy”.

With the new Speedy service, project delivery times between Turkey and Germany are achieved in 36 hours. Ekol quotes special delivery times for its customers’ special freight and offers a faster and cheaper service with a 4 tones capacity without having to hire the entire vehicle. Therefore its customers are able to capture the same advantages of air cargo with Ekol’s “Speedy” service as well.

Since small-tonnage vehicles are used for each “Speedy” service, run by two drivers, they are not subjected to restrictions implemented at weekends and on national holidays. The stated targets are reached as promptly as possible through alternative routes.

Mehmet Özal, the Vice General Director of Ekol Logistics, having stated that they will always continue to develop special projects for their customers, said:

We will not restrict our new service, which we introduced for our current customers’ time sensitive freights in line with their demands, to Germany but will include other routes in our service area with our new investments in 2012.
