Ekol Celebrates The Science And Technology Week
Ekol, which boasts the industry’s only R&D center certified by the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology, has continued to invest in technology and innovation since its establishment.
The first and only company with a R&D center in the industry, Ekol Logistics, organized a Technology Day at its İstanbul Kardelen Facilities on Wednesday, March 9. The day-long presentations brought project teams from separate locations and units together, and the teams gained detailed information on each others’ projects.
After managing the most advanced R&D centers of our country and serving information technology companies as General Manager for many years, Semih İncedayı joined the Ekol family as a member of the Advisory Board in September 2015. In his opening speech for the event, İncedayı said,
We are the innovation leaders of our industry and a role model for our competitors thanks to our R&D center that has brought great innovations to our business processes not just in terms of software but also in hardware. We continue with our efforts to become the preferred logistics brand domestically and internationally, with the creative solutions we produce in line with trends.
Ekol Logistics R&D Director Erdem Özsalih said,
We have implemented a total of 132 advanced technology projects that create high value added and have competitive power at our R&D center that we established in 2012. We allocate €6 million to R&D out of our investment budget every year, which is a source of pride for us, for our industry and for our country.
