Ekol Comments On The Logistics Sector

At the panel organized at DSİ Conference Hall and participated by Mine Kaya, the Chief Executive Officer of International Transporters’ Association (UND), Hacer Uyarlar, the General Secretary of UTİKAD, and Ahmed Kuşhanoğlu, the General Manager of DHL, Tülay Gül gave a speech on the development of logistics sector in Turkey and the investments made by Ekol.
Ekol continuously supports the projects for the professional developments of the youth and creation of a unity within the sector. Visiting several universities and giving speeches in several panels for achieving this aim, Tülay Gül, Ekol Logistics Director of South Marmara, in her speech gave information on the position of logistics sector in the world and the development of the Turkish Logistics sector in parallel with this position and talked about the innovations introduced by Ekol to the sector regarding the environmentally-friendly intermodal solution created by combining the road, sea and railway transportation models of Ekol and the future investments planned to be made. Gül also emphasized that the logistics sector will be the leading force for Turkey to achieve its aims in 2023 and commented as follows:
Logistics is one of the leading sectors with the highest development rate in our country and it is possible to expect this growth rate to achieve a higher pace when taking into consideration the geopolitical situation of our country. The logistics sector therefore stands on a key point both for attracting foreign investors to and increasing the exports of our country.
