Ekol Doubles The Number Of Its Female Employees
Ekol Logistics, which has increased its female employment rate by 85 percent in the last two years, raised the number of its female employees to 1,172 in 2015 from 635 in 2013. This figure stood at 1,080 in 2014. Ekol has doubled the rate of female employment in the global logistics industry, which is 15 percent, and achieved 30 percent female employment.
According to results of the Women-Friendly Companies Research, Ekol was named the company with the highest increase in the number of female employees. Chairman Ahmet Musul received the award for the “company with the highest increase in the number of female employees” on behalf of Ekol Logistics at the Women-Friendly Companies Award Ceremony held on the last day of the Uludağ Economy Summit.
Chairman Musul emphasized the importance of the active participation of women in business life and said,
