Ekol Logistics Cooperates With STS International Transportation, Expands Service to Scandinavian Countries
Considering the year 2010 as a year of investment and increasing its customer satisfaction by expanding the service network, Ekol Logistics is announcing that it will be joining forces with STS International Transportation, the leading company of the Scandinavian route. Ekol Logistics targets a growth of € 12 million in this route.
Ekol Logistics, the leading company of the logistics sector in Turkey, has announced that it is cooperating with STS International Transportation to expand its services to include Northern European countries, including Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland. Founded in 1990 with the goal of being the best logistics company in Europe, this expansion comes after achieving growth throughout Western Europe, the UK, Southern Europe and Eastern Europe.
Ekol Logistics Board Chairman Ahmet Musul said:
I believe STS International Transportation will bring a great contribution to the operations of Ekol Logistics in the Scandinavian region with its experience of 10 years, agency network and the trust that customers have in the organization.
Musul has also stated that the synergy created by the existing business volumes of both companies will bring Ekol Logistics to a further point with the experience of STS.
Ekol Logistics, a third-party logistics (3PL) supplier, provides every kind of logistics operations, including transportation, warehouse management and customs operations. With significant investments in its warehouse and fleet, Ekol has increased its closed area to 400.000 m2 and its fleet to 1,100 vehicles. They also create custom-tailored work solutions to the FMCG, retail, automotive, food, textile and technology industry sectors.
