With Its New Facility, Ekol is Targeting Automotive Logistics Leadership in The South Marmara Region
Being the vibrant and innovative corporation of the Turkish logistic sector Ekol Logistics, opened a new facility in Bursa Demirtaş Industrial Zone.
Following its precedents in İstanbul, Ankara, İzmir, Adana, Denizli and Mersin ; the “Gül” ( Rose) Facility was opened with a ceremony on Friday, February 18, 2011 at 19:00.
Affirming to be proud of the new facilitys contribution to the economy of Bursa, as well as to Turkey’s, Ekol Logistics Chairman Mr. Umur Özkal enunciated: “We have ended 2010 with a gross turnover of 12 million Euros for South Marmara region, and in 2011 we are targeting to increase this number to 15 million Euros with a growth rate of 30%.”
Announcing that they are willing to enhance in automotive logistics, Mr Özkal said: “Ekol is aiming to become the leading company in South Marmara region, and secure a serious dominance in the region in any possible aspect of the bussiness.”
Built on a 23 acres land in Bursa, Gül Facility houses 5 thousand m2 covered area along with warehouse of 3 thousand m2, and 450 m2 office space. Setting aside one thousand m2 to be used as a bonded warehouse area, Ekol Logistics will be utilising the remaining space for further business development.
