      Pursuant to the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, the application of the Data Subject must include the name, surname, signature if the application is in writing, Republic of Türkiye identification number, (passport number if the applicant is a foreigner), residential or workplace address for notification, e-mail address for notification, telephone number and fax number, and information on the subject of the request.

      The Data Subject must clearly and comprehensibly state the matter requested in the application, which will be made to exercise the rights mentioned above and includes explanations regarding the right he/she requests to exercise. Information and documents regarding the application must be attached to the application.

      Although the subject of the request must be related to the applicant's person, if acting on behalf of someone else, the applicant must be authorized and this authorization must be documented (power of attorney). If the application is within the scope of sensitive data, the applicant must be specifically authorized in accordance with Article 10 of the Regulation on Personal Health Data. In addition, the application must include identity and address information and identity-verifying documents must be attached to the application.

      Requests made by unauthorized third parties on behalf of someone else will not be evaluated.

    • What is the response time for your requests regarding the processing of your personal data?

      Your requests regarding your personal data will be evaluated and answered within 30 days at the latest from the date it reaches the relevant department.       Special categories of personal data require a higher level of protection compared to other data categories. It is stipulated under the PDPL that a separate notification is required to process such data.

      If a time period for the retention of data is specified in the law or relevant legislation, your personal data must be retained for at least this specified period. If no such period is stipulated in the law or relevant legislation, they are retained for reasonable periods determined on the condition that they are relevant, limited, and proportionate to the purposes of processing.

      Pursuant to the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, the application of the Data Subject must include the name, surname, signature if the application is in writing, Republic of Türkiye identification number, (passport number if the applicant is a foreigner), residential or workplace address for notification, e-mail address for notification, telephone number and fax number, and information on the subject of the request.

      The Data Subject must clearly and comprehensibly state the matter requested in the application, which will be made to exercise the rights mentioned above and includes explanations regarding the right he/she requests to exercise.     • What is the legal basis for collecting your special categories of personal data?

      Special categories of personal data are data relating to race, ethnic origin, political opinions, philosophical beliefs, religion, sect or other beliefs, appearance and dressing, membership of association, foundation or trade-union, health, sexual life, criminal conviction and security measures, and biometrics and genetics.

      Special categories of personal data require a higher level of protection compared to other data categories. It is stipulated under the PDPL that a separate notification is required to process such data.

    • How long is your personal data retained?

      If a time period for the retention of data is specified in the law or relevant legislation, your personal data must be retained for at least this specified period. If no such period is stipulated in the law or relevant legislation, they are retained for reasonable periods determined on the condition that they are relevant, limited, and proportionate to the purposes of processing.

    • What are your rights as a data subject?

      Under the PDPL and relevant legislation, regarding your personal data you have the following rights:

      • To learn whether your personal data are processed or not,
      • If your personal data are processed, to request information thereabout,
      • To learn the purpose of the processing of your personal data, and whether these personal data are then used for the intended purposes or not,
      • To learn the identity of third parties to whom your personal data are transferred within country or abroad,
      • To request the rectification of the incomplete or inaccurate data, if any,
      • To request the erasure or destruction of your personal data within the frame of the terms and conditions specified in Law,

      Pursuant to the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, the application of the Data Subject must include the name, surname, signature if the application is in writing, Republic of Türkiye identification number, (passport number if the applicant is a foreigner), residential or workplace address for notification, e-mail address for notification, telephone number and fax number, and information on the subject of the request.

      The Data Subject must clearly and comprehensibly state the matter requested in the application, which will be made to exercise the rights mentioned above and includes explanations regarding the right he/she requests to exercise. Information and documents regarding the application must be attached to the application.

      Although the subject of the request must be related to the applicant's person, if acting on behalf of someone else, the applicant must be authorized and this authorization must be documented (power of attorney). If the application is within the scope of sensitive data, the applicant must be specifically authorized in accordance with Article 10 of the Regulation on Personal Health Data.     • What is the response time for your requests regarding the processing of your personal data?

      Your requests regarding your personal data will be evaluated and answered within 30 days at the latest from the date it reaches the relevant department.
